Catrin trained as a professional tailor and pattern designer in Sweden. She has worked in textile manufacturing and the sail making industry. She immigrated to Canada in 1999. Lisa completed a B.F.A. in visual arts at the University of Windsor in 1990. She makes art, sews her own clothes and has a home filled with beloved artefacts and on-the-go projects. She has applied her design skills to silversmithing, picture framing, illustration, junk furniture overhauls and other fanciful schemes.
